Our club relies extensively on volunteers - our coaches, team managers, committee, canteen staff and more all offer their time freely to the club to enable all our children to participate and compete.
As a non-profit organisation, we need parents and supporters to assist with running the club. There are many types of volunteer opportunities available depending on your experience and your availability.
Most team managers will assign a parent roster to assist with regular game day requirements such as "running the lines", bringing the half-time oranges, assisting in the canteen and so on. It is expected that all parents are able to give up at least a little time to make sure things always run smoothly.
As the saying goes...
Many hands make light work!
If you have not been asked to volunteer or assist with any duties, but would like to contribute to the running of the club, please talk to your team manager or a committee member about areas in which you would be able to help.
