Junior Referee Program

Welcome to Casey Comets FC's Youth Referee Programme, a fantastic initiative designed to introduce our young members (aged 14 and up) to the world of football officiating.

This programme not only helps develop a deeper understanding of the game but also fosters responsibility, leadership, and confidence in our youth.

Fixture Allocation

Each week, by Thursday we ask our Junior referees to send through their availability for the weekend to the whatsapp junior referee chatgroup.  Based on this, our referee co-ordinator assigns referees for the weekend matches. Specifying which referees are scheduled for that weekend and what time. 

Typically, we aim to be fair with the assigned games giving  each referee similar amounts of games over the weekend. We do ask that parents remain at the game whilst their child referees.
