Kickstart 4-7 yrs
The Casey Comets Kickstart Program is the perfect introduction to football for young players looking to learn, develop and have fun!
Run by our qualified Casey Comets Academy coaches, each session focuses on a different football skill, giving players plenty of time on the ball while building confidence both as a player and a person.
⚽ Each week includes:
• A specific skill focus
• Fun, age-appropriate activities that put the skill into a match situation
• Small-sided games where players can put everything into practice
Our aim is to develop each player's skills, confidence and understanding of the game, preparing them to take the next step into our Casey Comets Academy or community teams when they’re ready.
Kickstart Term 4
The Casey Comets Kickstart Program is back for Term 4 and is the perfect introduction to football for young players looking to learn, develop and have fun!
With the warmer weather on the way, what better time to get your little ones outside, active and kicking a soccer ball! 
Program Dates: Sunday 18th October – Sunday 13th December
Session Time: Sunday mornings, 9:00am–10:00am
Ages: 4–7 years

FAQs
Where are you located?
Our grounds are located at 27 O’Tooles Road Cranbourne.
What should my child wear and bring?
Comfort and the ability to move freely is
essential. Sportswear or tracksuits are recommended.
Footy/Soccer boots are required as the ground often
becomes soft during winter.
Shin guards
Always be prepared for the weather, pack warmer
clothing, spare clothes if it’s raining, and of course always bring a water
bottle.
Do sessions get cancelled when it rains?
Melbournes weather can be unpredictable.
We monitor the weather, and training will be cancelled if the conditions are
considered dangerous including:
Forecasted lightning
Torrential or persistent heavy rain
If the pitch surface has been adversely affected,
If the heat is over 36 degrees and/or a high UV
In the case of cancellation, Casey Comets will advise all participants as soon
as possible. Sessions cancelled in advance will be provided as make-up
sessions at times scheduled by the club.
Other Information
·
The coaches are passionate about sharing their expertise with the next generation of
football players
·
Parents or guardians are
required to remain at the premises for the duration of the sessions
·
Parents/guardians/family members
including other children must stay outside the pitch during training.
·
Prams, scooters and bikes should
not go on to the pitch at any time.
