The launch of our Casey Comets Academy (CCA)
Casey Comets FC is excited to launch the Casey Comets Academy with Liam Wolstenholme as our Academy Director for 2027
Currently playing VPL1 football with Eltham Redbacks, Liam has played over 100 senior games after beginning his senior career at just 17 years old.
Despite still being in his early twenties, Liam has built significant experience in coaching and player development. He holds a Bachelor of Exercise & Sport Science, specialising in Strength & Conditioning, an AFC C Licence and ASCA Level 1 accreditation. As the founder of C4F, Liam has spent the past several years delivering development programs for hundreds of young footballers across Melbourne, while building a strong team of coaches around him.
He brings plenty of energy and enthusiasm to the role, with a genuine passion for creating environments where young players are challenged, supported and given every opportunity to improve both on and off the pitch. Alongside his role as Academy Director, Liam will coach our U11 Academy, U14 Girls Academy and U15 Academy teams, while overseeing the wider program and working with our coaching team to build a strong pathway into Casey Comets’ senior men’s and women’s teams.
We’re excited to have Liam leading the inaugural chapter of the Casey Comets Academy
